PRE-COURT APPEARANCE
DRIVER TRAINING COURSES
The Benefits

James Ward of Ward Advanced Driver Training has extensive operational experience in this delicate area having served many years in The Metropolitan Police Service as a Traffic Officer and as well as being an Advanced Driving Consultant is also a fully qualified DVSA Fleet Registered Approved Driving Instructor. You will be helped without prejudice, and not lectured about what has taken place where the training you'll receive will help change your cognitive approach to driving to make you more competent, responsible and ultimately a much safer motorist.

Your training will consist of the following:

-
An initial assessment drive to establish your current risk level (LOW, MEDIUM or HIGH) and identify your Initial Training Needs
-
Coaching session to address the areas of training identified and put these competencies into practice on the road
-
Debrief and Detailed Training Report

Taking a driver improvement course can help demonstrate that you are keen to improve your standard of driving. We would never claim a pre-court advanced / defensive course would always influence a court conviction. However, taking a course and showing genuine motivation to become a safer driver while recognising your shortcomings in your driving past could be seen in a positive light by the court.

Upon completion of your course you will receive a detailed training report within 24 hours electronically by .pdf which can be used as evidence at your court proceeding.
Pre-court Appearance Driver Training Courses (defensive or advanced) are designed for those that feel they may lose their driving licence or are facing several penalty points, and want to demonstrate to the courts, their genuine intention to learn from their mistake, and as a result, become a safer more responsible driver.

Generally, such motorists fall into two categories:

1. Facing a motoring conviction (speeding, careless etc.)
2. Having had a serious RTC (Road Traffic Collision)

Many clients taking this course have been advised to do so by their legal team, their insurance company or they have decided to do so on their own initiative.
